Hey there!
Thanks for your patience – we can only get data for a day rather than half days, so that is the most granular our data can get.
We were detecting changes automatically based on Google’s cache, but they have started blocking that aggressively. Instead we now assume day test starts plus 2 days for the start of your test, which is configurable if you’d like to delay the start date (in the case of a less popular, less frequently indexed page) or bring it forward (for a very popular, quickly indexed page such as your homepage)
Hope this helps!
Thanks
JonnyHey Almaz!
Did you comment on the right project? This is an SEO plugin, not a theme. Happy to help if you were in the right place, but please provide some more context 🙂
Cheers
JonnyHey James,
There’s two factors involved in getting data back from your seo tests:
1 – The time it takes Google to index your updated page
2 – The usual delay in Search Console – the data it provides is normally 2-3 days oldIf you have a popular, well linked to site then number 1 can be as quick as the same day, or perhaps as much as 3 days to a week for pages on a less popular site, or that are buried deep in your site structure.
Once the changes are live Google will show the impact after another 2-3 days – so in total you might see results within 3 days for a popular, well linked to site, or as much as 7-10 days for a site that isn’t as loved by Google.
