In reply to: [Advanced Excerpt] PLUGIN ABANDONEDHi @wpkube,
there are other problems with the previous and the current version of the plugin – namely the stripping of html tags in excerpts due to the block editor. Please see the fix proposed by @butesa in this support thread: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/twenty-twenty-three-theme-compatibility-read-more-links-not-working-anymore/
Thanks @butesa, this fix does work for me!

In reply to: [ICDSoft Reseller Store] Plugin install creates 7 new pagesHi, and thanks for trying out our plugin. The ICDSoft Reseller Store plugin has to create several pages, such as order forms, and it cannot function as expected without them. We are not certain of what you refer to by “moving these pages,” but we will be happy to assist you further.
Please get back to us via our ticketing system at https://SureSupport.com, because we do not actively monitor the comment section at this site. Thank you in advance.

In reply to: Mysterious BreakingGlad that you managed to resolve the issue! Did not mean to pass judgement on your hosting provider of choice, but where I work, this is simply unacceptable.

In reply to: Text disappears on “Save Draft”Just tested ⌘ on my WordPress installation, and had no trouble saving, so I can confirm that it’s not WP itself. A bit of a shot in the dark, but: do you have access to your database, e.g. phpMyAdmin? If so, can you check if your MySQL server’s charset and the database collation are set to UTF-8?

In reply to: Chunks of text copied and pasted throughout postIs it possible that you created a block with the text and images that get repeated, and then added that block multiple times? It is my (limited) understanding that this is how blocks in Gutenberg work. I apologize for not being able to help out further, but guesswork is the best I an do outside of your Dashboard.

In reply to: Chunks of text copied and pasted throughout postHave you tried reviewing the page’s contents both in Gutenberg and classic editor?

In reply to: A page automatically restore a older version? This might come off as dumb, but have you tried clearing both your local cache, and any cache that may be on the account/server?

In reply to: Text disappears on “Save Draft”I’d advise you to try disabling your plugins for a quick test. More likely than not, one of them is conflicting with the editor saving those characters. I can assure you that WordPress itself has no problem with unicode characters.

In reply to: Mysterious BreakingYour account, and more specifically the /home4/xxxxxx/public_html/maiettaink.com/ directory, may contain a php.ini or a .user.ini that includes an auto_prepend_file directive that requires the wordfence-waf.php file, and subsequently returns the error that you see when the file isn’t found. This file and/or directive was added when you (or HostGator’s installer) installed the WordFence plugin. Deleting the php.ini/.user.ini file in the directory, or the whole directory, should resolve this for you. Not entirely sure how it is with cPanel, but it should include a utility that lets you discover and edit such files across your account.
protip: get you a hosting provider that does not close down their support system. This is a query that should be resolved by a hosting provider’s support team.
