Try to remove the plugin manually through any FTP program.
Check if your permissions on your FTP sever are correctly set.
When using Cyberduck (Mac OSX), you right click the wordpress folder, info and then the permissions tab. Check everything.
Of course this will be different when you use a different FTP app.
