Thanks again everyone; I’m about to try it -hopefully finishing before the Super Bowl.

One final question:
I appear NOT to have a “feature.php” in “public_html”, so should I just create a new txt file on the PC with EDITPLUS, copy in the two new lines, rename the file “feature.php”, and them FTP it back to “public_html”?

Thanks very much for the help – I realize that my learning curve is steep right now.

I got WS_FTP, and ran it. It displayed a directory, but I could not fine ‘function.php’ nor ‘wp_config.php’.

I can’t figure out what I am doing wrong…

Here is the directory WP_FTP shows:
NAME
.cpanel
.cphorde
.htpasswds
.pki
etc
mail
public_ftp
public_html
tmp
.bash_logout…
…then a continuing list of files..

Any help would be greatly appreciated; thanks again.
