In reply to: How to Automatically Email Posts to my SubscribersHey shasta, check out feedburner.com which allows you to set up an rss feed that your users can subscribe to via email or by subscribing to your rss feed so everytime you post a new post, your readers will be notified. Here is an example feed you can create for your blog using feedburner.com -> http://feeds.feedburner.com/FerbsCosmetics. If you notice on the upper-right, your users have the option to subscribe using their favorite reader, or subscribe by email

In reply to: Add A Page after Deleting Originalbuddha trance you rock!!! It was the redirection plugin I had installed.
Not only did I have to deactivate the plugin – I had to completely uninstall the plugin and any traces of the plugin. I did this by going to TOOLS > REDIRECTION > OPTIONS > DELETE ALL TRACES which disables the plugin and any traces.
Permalink titling and structure now works fine. 🙂 Reinstalled redirect plugin and now that works fine again also.
THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

In reply to: Add A Page after Deleting Originalyes – create the page with title you desire – save
above post title is permalink assigned to page – edit that to what you want
save page again
should workThanks Somboil, unfortunately that is not working for me.
I tried that but when i create a new page, save, and then edit the permalink to be the permalink that I desire – it does not work. It claims that the page is not found. There is no way to see the page unless I edit the permalink to a completely, never-before-used name.
One thing I would like to point out is that I’m trying to create the page immediately after I deleted the previous page. Do I need to wait a couple days before creating again?
Also, where is the permalink or page history logged? Is there a way I can go into the log and delete previous history so it appears like it was never, ever created? I don’t know a lot about programming wordpress but enough to be dangerous.
To be most specific, this whole website was based around a forum, and I am unable to create the permalink “http://mysite/forum” 🙁 Even after I click “view page” or create a different named page, and then rename the page to “/forum”
I really appreciate all of your help towards solving this dilema. Thank you again!
