But do I need to update my permalinks before I log out and try it for first time, or after? First time when I installed it, there was 2 options – one was the path to wp-admin to be changed, I choose let’s say mysite.com/123456 as path. The second option was for redirection, I left it as it is, I believe was */404 I left it that way. I didn’t refresh the permalinks, but logged out and tried to access, I type mysite.com/123456 and there was the normal wp-admin login panel for WordPress, I put my credentials and hit Enter, than I was redirected to */404 with error that this page does not exist.

@nicolaskulka thanks for the suggestions. I figured it out, I deleted the plugin folder with FTP, but it doesn’t let me to access and the links stayed the same. I had to login from the front, you need to be admin and than to go manually to the Dashboard from the WP bar, I don’t know why, but only worked for me when I manually pressed the WP bar and the Dashboard setting, it doesn’t work with me if I manually entered the link “wp-admin”. Than inside I had to refresh the permlinks, and then it started working as usual.
Now I’m afraid to install the plugin again your plugin is recommended by many people, but and a lot of people are complaining from the same problem since the last update…

There is something odd about the last update. I’ve seen many videos of the plugin working ideally, I had the latest release and I got locked out from my backend, because it redirects to 404 page…

I’ve only tried with both Google Chrome and Safari on my iPhone, but in both browsers makes now Error for the cookies.
Edit: I’ve tried it on IE as well, but the same issue, so at least for me there is no difference in the browsers access.
I deleted the plugin with FTP, but the custom links and the stupid redirection stays the same even without the plugin, which means that they changed the wp-admin paths in the config or whatever file keeps them. I thought the plugin doesn’t change your core files, but suddenly it does, at least for me. The worst part is that I saw many videos about this plugin and I installed it without making backup before that, I have some backups, but they were weeks ago and now I’m kinda fucked, because if I restore the backup I will have access, but at the same time I will loose a lot of content in this 2 or so weeks of not having backup…
