I miss the old version as well….and had several of the problems the other user listed.
I’d like to add that code into the functions.php to eliminate the 80 characters, but to be honest, I see a lot of options via the edit plugin that say functions.php in it. Which one should I use?
Additionally…on the old version, when my members added news, the link they added took visitors straight to their site. With this new version, it opens to a secondary page on my site. Creating a second step that my members (and myself) don’t like. In other words, the old way took people strait to my members news.
Now when a member submits community news, it creates a ‘post’ on my site and then another link to click through to a members site. Can I get rid of that unnecessary step?
