The problem was due to a requirement of the Theme that I had not read. It was necessary to increase the MEMORY liMIT to 256 in the wp_config.php.

define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’);

With this change, the problem is solved

The site has the following plugins installed:

. AdSense Integration WP QUADS
. Cookie Ley Española
. Estadísticas de WP
. Facebook Comments Plugin
. Facebook Comments Plugin
. Re-add text underline and justify
. Yoast SEO
. All In One WP Security
. tagDiv Composer
. tagDiv Social Counter

To perform the tests I deactivated all those plugins except “tagDiv Composer” and “tagDiv Social Counter” that are native of Newsmag theme.

After this change, the error was the same. When AMP pages was invoked, it went blank without HTML source.

Because of these problems, I decided to install the last version of Wordpres & Newsmag Theme on my laptop.

The good news is that the new version of this theme brings a “TagDiv AMP” plugin that solves all these problems.

When activated it, everything is resolved and the header is displayed with its logo, social network buttons and related articles.

I think the problem that exists with NewsMag 4.0 can be something related to its design or its plugins but was already resolved with NewsMag 4.5.

My plan is to update WP & NewsMag this weekend

Hello @westonruter, After installing AMP plugin V1.0, I did the following tests

1.- If i select CLASSIC MODE, shows this message:

“Classic mode activated! View the AMP version of a recent post. It is recommended that you upgrade to Native or Paired mode”.

Note: In this case, all posts of the site pass the Validation Test

2.- When I select PAIRED MODE, The message is as follow:

“Paired mode activated! However, there was an error when checking the AMP validity for your site. Internal Server Error”

Note: No page/posts are visible. The html source code of pages & posts are in blank.

Message in AMP Validator is: “The mandatory tag ‘html doctype’ is missing or incorrect”

3.- When i select NATIVE MODE the message is the following:

“Native mode activated! However, there was an error when checking the AMP validity for your site. Internal Server Error”

Same as Paired Mode, page & posts are empty, HTML empty

Theme is Newsmag V4.0. Errors in Native & Paired Mode may be caused by some compatibility of the theme

After disabling all plugins (except Yoast Seo 9.2), the problem was the same. This means that it was not a conflict with installed plugins. This site is not using WPML.

The theme installed in our page is NewsMag which has not been updated this year so that it is not the issue.

So I decided to make a rollback using WP Roll Back Plugin. Now the reinstalled Yoast Seo 9.1 works perfectly.

I will follow this issue in order to know if its possible to upgrade to 9.2.
