In reply to: [Same Category Posts] Conflict with Another PluginNever mind, I found the problem and was able to fix it. I thought I needed a work around with your plugin, but I found the offending setting in the other plugin

In reply to: [Same Category Posts] Conflict with Another PluginOkay, I don’t think I explained this clearly.
The reason why it works on https://mendala.com/qotsb-book1/ is because that page is a “post”
The “World Map” page is being generated by another plugin called CM Tooltip Glossary found here > https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/enhanced-tooltipglossary/
The “World Map” page itself has no HTML in the title. It’s just part of a different plugin. The conflict seems to be with that plugin, somehow, not sure.
This is what it looks like when I go to use your plugin on the back end
widget linkI’m not sure where the conflict is, but I’m starting here since your plugin is a lot simpler so hopefully I can find an easy fix or workaround.

In reply to: [CM Tooltip Glossary] Pre-Sale Question About LinksI see there are multiple versions of pro, which should I get to accomplish this? or do all of them do it?

In reply to: [BookPress - For Book Authors] Why is it locked to such a small size?To answer your question to me, no there is no other similar book plugin (beleive me, I’ve looked).
I decided to basically use the features of wordpress along with a few small plugins to make something that will work for what I’m publishing.
I do hope that in the future BookPress will address these features because I really like the concept, I just think it was designed for a different type of user or purpose than what I have in mind.
And now suddenly… they’ve changed and are what they should be. I don’t know what caused that. I do still have the screen shot though.

In reply to: [Post/Page Specific Custom Code] default post css appears on pagesFollow-up to the message above… yup they are reversed.
I just reversed them and got the desired results.

In reply to: [Post/Page Specific Custom Code] default post css appears on pagesRight… I don’t think I explained myself clearly.
In your plugin.
I added css to “Default stylesheet for new posts”. That’s it.
I left “Default stylesheet for new page” blank. because I don’t want a default CSS to appear in your plugin space on pages.
Well, what happens is when I add new page, I and scroll down to the box for your plugin, I see the “Default stylesheet for new posts” css
when I add a new post and scroll down to your plugin, I see nothing.
I think they’re reversed in the settings page.
I have the exact same message.
My theme is located here:

In reply to: [BookPress - For Book Authors] Why is it locked to such a small size? This changes the size of the font but not the size of the “page”. The space that the page of the book takes up isn’t the entire space the book has on the web page… the pages are restricted to an arbitrary small size. Even the book cover is larger than the book “pages”.
All increasing the font does is make less words on the page.
Also I would like to be able to use keyboard arrows to go back and forth on a computer, not just swiping or clicking previous and next.
You should also be able to have “previous” and “Next” buttons at the same time as having page number buttons. I’m not sure why it’s either or.
This is really an interesting plugin, but I don’t think it suits my needs. It looks like it’s designed for smart phone or tablet use and not all devices, it seems to be designed specifically for a smaller screen with a touchscreen at least.

In reply to: [WP Cron HTTP Auth] Windows AuthenticationIf by entering it in the auth prompt you mean the window that pops up when you try to enter the site, then yes it works there. In fact I don’t need to enter it as domain\user in that box, just username and password work.
However, I have noticed that when site health tries to do a loopback check, it presents the box for authentication again (because wordpress needs to authenticate for loopback) and it fails every single time I put it in. So maybe that’s why the plugin isn’t working. I thought maybe using the plugin would fix this, but apparently there is a deeper issue that is causing failure.

In reply to: [WP Cron HTTP Auth] Windows AuthenticationOh sorry, didn’t see that request
In theory straight username / password should work
However, it may be that it needs the username to be formatted like thisdomain\username
I’ve tried putting that into the username field, but no dice, unless the plugin isn’t expecting that.
Again, it may just be something else I’m missing, but thank you for responding!

In reply to: [WP Cron HTTP Auth] Windows AuthenticationHmmm…
I read the article on your site about wordpress cron not working and found your plugin that way because I have a Windows Auth setup and am having issues with cron not working. I also get an error in site health that the site could not complete a loopback (same issue 401 / authorization).
So I thought this would be the solution, but it’s like my server won’t accept the credentials (any credentials, I’ve tried multiple usernames and password, all of which can sign into the site).
For whatever reason, when it goes to do the loopback, it just won’t accept it. Can you think of anything that might be the cause of this? Just wondering if I’m barking up the wrong tree.
I don’t doubt the plugin works, I’m just wondering if there is something I’m missing. (some setting that needs to be tweaked).
