I managed to get my firewall working by enabling the correct permissions on my htaccess but i am still having troubles with scanning. Any help will be massively appreciated.

    Thanks

On disabling a plugin i was able to get the news issues to go away and then i was able to reinstall wordpress.

Unfortunately when i try to to add the theme i was using back in i still get the above issue.

    Hi,
Thanks for that, it worked to get access to the site but it appears areas are failing.

On the Dashboard under wordpress news it has an error saying “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘5’ (T_LNUMBER), expecting ‘,’ or ‘;’ in C:\wamp\www\wordpressDev\wp-includes\class-simplepie.php .

If i try to reinstall wordpress i get an error saying:

Warning: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with ww.wp.xz.cn or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to ww.wp.xz.cn. Please contact your server administrator.) in C:\wamp\www\wordpressDev\wp-admin\includes\update.php on line 115.

And if i try to reimport my theme .zip the upload gets so far then i see a screen saying:
“Are you sure you want to do this?

    Please try again.”

    Any ideas?

Thanks again. I appreciate this 🙂
