In reply to: [WP Posts Carousel] How to sort by category?Figured it out. Just had to type in the ID into where it said category ID. Previously I was typing it into “by selected IDs” as well as “Category ID.” It works now. The screenshot I posted is how it should look. I’m dumb.

I went to the Envato website, which manages Visual Composer for WPBakery. I bought a license, deleted the one VC that came with my theme, and activated the new license. Works perfectly.

I did some looking around on the WPBakery website and apparently there are two types of Visual Composers: one that’s purchased via license from the VC creators, and one that is purchased by theme creators who push it to their users. My website uses a theme that included VC as part of a bundle, so the WPBakery site recommends waiting for the theme designer to update and push the new version to the users.
However, I don’t want to wait around in case the designer never gets around to pushing it, so I would prefer to purchase a license and update it manually, if anyone knows if that is possible?
