In reply to: [Redirection for Contact Form 7] Can only redirect to a page in the dropdown…I just did it once again where I disabled all plugins and flipped to a new theme (I didn’t change themes previously) and the results are the same.
I am backing up the site now and will e-mail you admin creds once it is complete.

The box is checked, and no redirection. I get the ‘your message has been sent’ note at the bottom of the form, and I get the e-mail just fine, but I NEVER get redirected.
If I select a page in the dropdown list, that works fine, but no external URL’s.
Let me know if you need an admin account to check. I know this is a free plugin and your time is valuable, so if I can get this working, I will happily buy the pro version so that you can get compensated for taking the time to help me!

I get the exact same problem with any theme, and with only this plugin enabled and I am running version 2.0.76
Unless you have another idea, apparently I am spending the weekend finding another solution and rebuilding all of my galleries (200mb worth..)

I got this figured out. Apparently, if you check “show on front page” as well as fill in a URL in the ‘pages and posts to display’ that causes the problem where it will show on every page. I removed the URL from the ‘pages and posts’ box and now I only get it on the front page.
I have a smaller issue now that I have upgraded in that I get a “shadow” dialogue box that will open quickly and close, then the regular dialogue box opens up. It’s not a big deal, but something new. I would send you my URL but I have disabled my modal dialogue for now as our event is over.

Thanks Cais, unfortunately a new template yielded the same results. I will start disabling plugins to see if there is a caching issue there, but I’m not hopeful as I only have about 5 activated.
Before I ping my hosting provider, any other ideas?

Sorry, it is a new theme (Beat Heaven from Themefuse) which I am trying to use with NextGen. I am not convinced that the theme is the problem since if I simply try and browse to an HTML file, I can also get 403 errors as well! My FTP client tells me everything is CHMOD 755.
