hi,
i’m using the theme’s own widgets for recent posts and popular posts right now. don’t like them.
i still have the statify widget: beliebte inhalte installed but deactivated and will try it, if it becomes an update. i recognized the problem a few weeks ago, but definitely after the last statify update(s). coincidence?
after i published a new post i immediately checked the popular posts with number of views and it had over 5.000 (!!!) views if i was on the page with the post, on the homepage instead it had something about 300 (!).

Hello again and thanks for the fast feedback.
• I use Statify 1.4.6
• I use (and always used) Posts (Beiträge), not Posts + Pages (Beiträge + Seiten)
• I use (and always used) a specific page as start page. (Deine Homepage zeigt: Eine statische Seite).
I didn’t noticed the same behavior in the past, but I’ve only been using Statify for the past 2 or 3 years. It’s been 2, 3, 4 weeks (?) since I recognized this behaviour now.
