In reply to: [Commerce7 for WordPress] Product Images showing wrong product or none at allSorry for the bother!
Unbeknownst to me my host had caching enabled. I disabled it and all is well.OK, I found the solution in the Customizer:
Customizer > Blog Posts > Blog Title > General Tab
At the bottom of that tab is the “Container Min Height” control which is defaulted to 550px. Changing it to around 800px makes it balance out to the header images of the other pages.
Thanks for pointing that out, Eduard. However, unless I am missing something, there is nothing in that area that allows me to alter the height of the Blog page’s header image. I mimicked the settings from one of the other pages and the only thing that changed was that the blog posts moved up to the top of the page but the header image stayed exactly the same height (and its still shorter than the header image on the other pages).

In reply to: [WP Show Posts] How to standardize the height of Title Element?I actually had a solution for the issue of variable length texts so that wasn’t a problem…The main problem was that the fixed height would not show up on initial page load.
Your recommendations were solid and sound and I am grateful that you took the time to reply. However, I found a much simpler solution that involved javascript that fixed all the things I was trying to fix.
Many thanks again!

In reply to: Limit words on main blog pageYou can approach this by editing theme files if you’re comfortable doing that or there are various plugins that can accomplish changing the length of your posts’ excerpts.
This is a great tutorial that can get you going with either direction:

In reply to: [Recipe Card Blocks Lite] Directions default to Unordered Lists in 5.0The update to 1.0.1 took care of everything. Many thanks!

In reply to: [Recipe Card Blocks Lite] Directions default to Unordered Lists in 5.0Taking a deeper look at my live site (which is still running on WP4.9.8 and Gutenberg Plug-In 4.6.1) and it looks like the update to WP5.0 stripped out the
::beforeselector on the directions list’s li element.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Specific & Variable Redirects after LoginMany thanks! I have indeed looked at that specific plugin. So far, it is not producing the results I am aiming for (or, its possible that I just don’t understand how to make it happen using the plugin’s interface). However, more importantly, that specific plugin is not recognizing my user roles, which have been customized.
Same here. I must admit that this is really frustrating, as this used to be a super simple thing to remedy.

In reply to: [WP Instagram Widget] Instagram has returned invalid data when using #hashtagThanks Scott! The first thing that I did was to check Updates in my dashboard, but it gave no indication that there was a version 2.0.3 until literally a moment ago. I upgraded and all is well, Many thanks!

In reply to: [WP Instagram Widget] Instagram has returned invalid data when using #hashtagSame here. All was well as of yesterday but today I get the “Instagram has returned invalid data.” message. Changing username from @user or to just user doesn’t change anything. Perhaps there has been an API update or change?

In reply to: [SVG Support] Clarification on Logo in Customizerthanks for the quick follow up, benbodhi! i was able to determine that the issue i am having is due to the use of a child theme…if i switch to the parent theme, your plugin works perfectly and with no fuss. i’ve reached out to the theme’s maker to see what clarification they can provide.
many thanks again, and please feel free to mark this ticket as resolved.

In reply to: Plugin Recommendation for User Tracking/AnalyticsIt looks like MonsterInsights could be promising, and the Pro version offers user login/tracking.

In reply to: Plugin Recommendation for User Tracking/AnalyticsThanks for the suggestion! However, Stream looks like it tracks mostly backend activity. 99.999% of my users don’t have access to anything in the Admin areas of this particular WordPress site. Once logged in they have access to secure pages, and I need to track who logs in, what secure pages they visit and what they download.
