Hi @thomaswild ,
Thank you for the assistance and the code to disable the query string. I added it as a code snippet in my WPCode Code Snippets list but I am not seeing any change. The query string is still appended on the redirect. I am using a private browser window as well as multiple browsers and have cleared the site cache so there should be no page cache affecting the test.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] URL slug stopped working with 4.6.5Oh sorry, I posted the solution in the Pro forums. But I’ll put it here for non-pro users. Basically, my theme (Themify Ultra) had it’s own custom 404 page selection option. With that enabled, it recognized the empty result as a 404 and redirected to my 404 page. I disabled it and it resolved the issue. I’m now using a plugin called 404page and it works with The Events Calendar views.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] URL slug stopped working with 4.6.5Ok, I’ve narrowed this down to be a problem with List and Day views. When visiting the Events URL Slug (in my case /events), if the display setting Default view is set to Month, the page loads fine. However, if it is set to List or Day or you try to switch to list or Day on a date that falls after the last event’s date (in the past) or day with no event, then the List and Day views result in a 404 error. Basically, anytime there is no event data, instead if the “There were no results found.” message, I get a 404.
I’ve tried disabling every other plugin one by one and clearing all functions and css customizations with no change. I really can’t figure out why the List and Day views won’t load now since they used to and they do work fine on a clean test site.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Yoast index field conflict…but now the main events page (/events) doesn’t load. Individual events (/event/title-of-event) work fine. I reset the permalinks and that did not fix it.
