Yes, this is possible but would require some additional manual tweaks to our infrastructure which is not available for every user.

For now, this is available only on the premium plans and on request but we are looking to extend to all plans in case that more users are looking to this.

I’m just curious, would you mind sharing with me how much Optimole reduced the size of your image? How big was the increase in page speed?

I’m looking to gather some feedback on how much we can improve around this area.

Strange thing here. Yes you can use this filter optml_dont_replace_url like

add_filter('optml_dont_replace_url', function( $old, $url ) {
	
	if ( $url === 'https://sharpguyswebdesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/indianapolis-web-design.jpg' ) {
		return true;
	}
	return $old;
}, 10, 2);
 

I would suggest also to try to enable from Optimole Settings tab the Javascript & lazyload replacement which might fix this.

We have just launched the product so we are in the process of building the docs and tutorials database. I can say that we will have this ready in about 1 week.

But you don’t need to wait until then, our plugin is plug and play, you just need to install and the setup is pretty straightforward.
