Hi, I have tried the methods listed (i.e. creating directory, tried setting to 750 and 770), but still not working for me as well.
Just tried my luck reinstalling, and I managed to install plugins now. However, I’m encountering another problem. I’m trying to connect Jetpack to WordPress.com account, but I can’t seem to do so, with the following error:
Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host.
SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK
Any help would be great, thank you!
