I have added custom CSS to my theme to the parent container and made the overflow: initial. The theme is overriding the default behaviour.
This has fixed the floating problem.

I’ve resolved the first issue of the 403 problem by checking the logs which produce these errors and adding the error id to the exclude errors list in my host, so this was not related to the plugin in particular.
