Hi Jim,
I tried this out on my test site, and I was able to see all of the correct tax rates when my store’s address was from NY (with the zip code 11211).
Here are the rates I got for each of these zip codes:
10566: 7.375
10601: 8.375
10602: 8.375
10603: 7.375
10604: 7.375These are the same rates I am able to see on the TaxJar sales tax calculator here:
https://www.taxjar.com/sales-tax-calculator/Can you share a screenshot of what you see in your store’s checkout page when calculating tax?
Also, would you be able tell me what your store’s zip code is? If you’d rather not share these two things publicly, please email our support directly here:
https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/
In your message include your question, the zip code of the store, that screenshot, and a link to this thread.
Thanks!
Valerie
@nicoleashley – yes, the new address should stay updated in all the new orders. If that doesn’t happen, then please let me know so I can take a look. You can quickly check it without opening up that step by looking at the step summary – it will list the address it’s using when the ‘Origin’ step is closed for a quick glance.
You’re welcome! 🙂
Hey there Nicole!
Thanks for asking 🙂
Can you try editing the business name and your name in the ‘Origin’ section when purchasing a shipping label? Let me know if that helps when printing your next shipping label.
If it doesn’t help, can you send us a message through your WooCommerce.com account, so that we can take a closer look? Please include a screenshot of the ‘Origin’ section for reference.
Thanks!
Hey there,
Sorry about the trouble.
I found a couple of threads where others saw the 502 error message. Can you try these two things to see if they work for you:
