In reply to: Going to wrong page from the admin Edit page linkTo answer your question – The child theme was created using the Create Block Theme Plugin by WordPress.
When a new (static) page is created, we have to create a corresponding Custom Template in the child theme customisation (using the Guttenberg block editor) and link the page to the template.
Therefore right now, all static & dynamic blocks are actually stored in the child theme templates. Because clicking the Edit button from the Pages list on WordPress admin, doesn’t pull the associated template into the page editor.
I’m not sure sure if this is a significant problem or not… because everything works perfectly otherwise.

In reply to: Going to wrong page from the admin Edit page linkCreated a new page and I am able to select templates from the theme in Quick Edit, but when I click Edit – it still just displays a blank post in the editor.
Still baffled

In reply to: Going to wrong page from the admin Edit page linkA ha! I think it is because the Page Name has Cyrillic characters. WordPress doesn’t seem to like it. Doing some tests.

In reply to: Going to wrong page from the admin Edit page linkAdding this extra note here because I think it’s relevant:
From the WordPress Pages menu, all the pages are stuck on ‘Default Template’. I can see the other templates on the dropdown list but it just reverts back to Default Template if I attempt to change to the correct template.
Baffled.
resolved
Ah problem solved, I was able to reload the admin console to disable the faulty snippet.
using https://domain/wp-admin/?wpcode-safe-mode=1
Thanks!!!
Thanks, I added this to the plugin page and then clicked Activate – the site immediately crashed with 503:
