To disable mod_security COMPLETELY, add the following line to the .htaccess file:
SecFilterEngine Off

but that doesn’t work for me because my server is using mod_security 2 and that doesn’t allow override by .htaccess

and asked my company to do this at their end. waiting for their respons.
