Hi Sean, we replied to you on our new support chat already, and I hope your issue has been resolved. If you still need any help, please let us know.
And for others who read this, to avoid misinformation: MapSVG is supported via the chat on mapsvg.com or via the chat integrated into the plugin (it’s available even in our free Lite version). Our customer had a very old version of the plugin (6.0), while the latest is 8.x. In the old version of the plugin, there was a link to our old support desk, Ticksy, which we no longer use as of the end of 2024. So he was clicking the support link in the old plugin, which led to an inactive support desk account. Some features in the plugin were broken because it hadn’t been updated in many years.

The issue has been fixed in 8.7.10
All issues have been fixed in the latest version 8.6.13. Please update the plugin.
You need to either zoom-in to the desired area of the map (in the Map editor), then click Map editor / Settings / Size & position > Set current position as initial / Click “Save”.
Or (the easier method): enable the following option: Map / Settings / Fit markers on start / Click “Save” – this will automatically zoom the map to fit locations in the map viewBox
solved
Thank you for the good feedback 🙂 Let us know if you need anything else.

In reply to: [MapSVG - Vector maps, Image maps, Google Maps] custom post types/fieldsYes you can connect the map to a custom post type and then whenever you create a new post you enter its address on the same screen and it’s getting added to the map automatically. But you need a paid version for that, Lite can’t do that.

In reply to: [MapSVG - Vector maps, Image maps, Google Maps] Example Solution TemplatesThank you for your feedback. You’re right, the docs and tutorials have to be improved and also we are working on creating a “quick-start” functionality where you’d be able just to choose the map type (store locator etc.) and then choose the map style and have the working map ready in 10 seconds, where you only need to adjust it to your needs.

In reply to: [MapSVG - Vector maps, Image maps, Google Maps] Settings not savedHi, please let me know your ticket number of your e-mail that you used to start the support chat. I will find your conversation and help to fix the issue. When settings are not saving, it means there’s a conflict with another plugin (like WordFence, or WP Rocket, etc.), or with the server settings or firewall, or multiple issues.
