    Oh forgot to ask… I would imagine you know WP extremely well so thought I would ask… I have copied all my stuff over to another site but what I want to know is if I do a restore some of the info on front page has been changed since then and was wanting to just import the front page back in. is this possible., I have found I can import all the posts and pages back but just want to do a couple pages. Is it possible?

    Would you be able to send 2.4 to me via my site email [ redacted, support is offered via the forum and not email ] I might be able to work out what went wrong If I can get that

    Hi Josh
    Using 3.4 at the moment. Scared to update as things seem to go wrong everytime I have done updates in the past. What we did was after the tiny update we saw the shortcodes appear and it got all weird, we used fire ftp and just changed the tiny file back to the previous version which then fixed everything back to what you see now on http://www.ozhitch.com homepage. Cant explain why but it fixed it straight away. What ever happened we also have a whole load of other things like postal and payment methods have gone weird. Suggest anything

    You mentioned “optimize database” cannot find this… can you give detailed description of where to find please.

    This is what the site should look like and currently does after reverting back to the old 2.4 mce. http://ozhitch.com/

    you will notice all the [/one_half][one_half_last] and [one_half] etc etc this is what happened after the update… or do you think it could be something else

    Well its a bit of a longer story than that… the site was fine then I decided to do updates that were available and one of them was tiny. I updated and then a lot of the writing and video went out of alignment and messed it all up. so we got into the backend and replaced the tiny file with the old one and then everything was fine again. Problem is that there seemed to be many other little things out of order as well like the postal feature etc wasnt working properly the payment method went wouldnt show anything other than cheque etc. So what I want to do is copy the site to another domain I have a nd do some mucking around to see what the problem is, so I need 2.4 to see if I can recreate the problem. Ive just had the site built and the guy who built it hates WP and is now blamming everything on mce I dont know enough to argue and he want a fortune to fix it and I have just paid for it. Not happy. dont know what to do. Any suggestions
