I checked the urls in Settings and they are both localhost/mysite but greyed out so looks lie I could not have changed them if I wanted to, not from there anyway.

I did get that ‘Plug in’ you mentioned and tried it on the links setting only and it came back nothing to change.

Backed up to Dropbox before too 🙂

It is really weird because they are all pages I have created in the same admin and I don’t know why they would have the ‘IP#’ as url and not ‘localhost’ as others do. It’s not as if they are links I have inserted in a page, these are the links to the page.

If I could only get to see a list of every page link, then I would know better of where to change them.

It’s got me beat as I have looked everywhere.

I have just noticed that the links that work are all ‘localhost/blah’ and those with the local IP# ‘192.168.20.83/blah’ go to the 404.

Is there a place or list that shows every page, and image and their links address so I can change them all to localhost?

The Front side

I can get to the front page with 192.169.20.83/mysite however some front page images are missing from the Gallery.

When I click to go to a page link, this is the url

http://192.168.20.83/mysite/?page_id=71

but I get the dreaded

Not Found
The requested URL was not found on this server.
Apache/2.4.41 (Ubuntu) Server at 192.168.20.83 Port 80

I notice from other PC’s on the LAN I only see the text of the front page none of the them or images, yet on the PC I work on I do see it all.

Admin Side

I get the Admin login and can log in and see the admin page.
When I click on the left menu I can get to all the links okay.
When I click on pages, they all show on the list and I can get to them from ‘Edit’.

When in the page though there is no image showing but the message..

‘The image has an empty alt attribute and then gives the image file name’

In the Permalinks area I see.

http://localhost/mysite/?p=123 etc.

In Site Health Info Contstants I see.

ABSPATH	/var/www/mysite/
WP_HOME	http://localhost/mysite
WP_SITEURL	http://localhost/mysite
WP_CONTENT_DIR	/var/www/mysite/wp-content
WP_PLUGIN_DIR	/var/www/mysite/wp-content/plugins

I am not sure what else to show, but I need help to get to my pages.

Unfortunately there was no deg log however I have now added it to the config file foe next time.
I have been following other info and am now able to access phpmyadmin with the user and pwd and check the wp db data. It all seems okay.

I am still getting the same 404 with the url 192.168.20.83/mysite which is the exact url that did work. I also tried localhost/mysite.

I have checked firewall and it is fine and apache2 has correct permissions.

There is obviously something with the mysql db that is stopping it.

Any more ideas?

I unzipped the error logs(there were 7) and came across this in the last log Jan 1st which was when it stopped. It was repeated a few times.

So I am not sure where I go from here.

I am using ubuntu 20.04 btw.
