Apologies for the delay. Thanks so much for your help, this did the trick. I tried using Ultimate Branding to change the text however the () in the default text would not vanish no matter what. But this code worked sweet. Kudos to you!

Thanks for your response. I have done the testing and the conflicting plugin was:
Gears 4.1.1 (Author: Dunhakdis)
It adds functionality to BuddyPress and I believe it came bundled with a theme I purchased. I tried it with the new version of Give and PHP version 7.0 – still no good.
Any ideas as to what the conflict could be exactly?

I suppose the main reason it stumped me was because I was looking to install this on a new site, as opposed to upgrading an existing install of the plugin.

It sounds like rtMedia must not use the standard wordpress media library then I’d say. I’m going to just sit with it as is but will certainly get in touch in the near future when I’m ready to get it implemented. Cheers’

~ DanielNo it doesn’t seem to, not for me anyways. When I select multiple pages and add them to a group, when I click ‘Save’ and then ‘Update’ only one of the items will remain there, the rest are removed.

Sorry for the delayed response. I have just tested with Twenty Fifteen and it works. It looks awesome by the way, exactly what I need but doesn’t work with my theme, which I also really need.
So based on what I read, is the only option to try and convince the theme author to use the newly created hooks for the menus so the plugin and theme can co-exist together? Are there any other possibilities?

Just a suggestion for when you do make it multisite enabled (extending settings to all sites on the network) – if you could have settings which allow the super admin to choose to extend the settings to all sites as well as keeping the current option for each site to have a custom appearance, that would be awesome. I think both features have a place.

The url of the page with the ‘denied’ filter applied is:
http://www.DOMAIN.COM/wp-admin/users.php?s&action=-1&new_role&pw-status-query-submit=Filter&new_user_approve_filter=denied&paged=1&action2=-1There are denied users there but it simply says “No matching users were found.”
I haven’t disabled all other plugins and tested this yet as the site in question has a decent amount of regular traffic and I don’t have a sandbox in place. Its a project I volunteer for and thus I’m time short as it is, which is why there’s no sandbox for it at this stage.
Hopefully the above url may point something out. I can also give you a list of all active plugins if you like? In case one of them stands out as having caused conflicts in the past or something.
Let me know what you want me to do next, I’ll do what I can to work through this and get it working. 🙂

It’s the filter in the wp-admin/users.php screen. Running WP 4.1. So when you select pending or whatever from the drop down and click filter, it comes up again says “No matching users were found.” doesn’t matter which option you select and on my site all of them have users within them.
It’s a great plugin though mate, very useful! Would be good to get the filter going though. 😀
