Well, id you are having trouble, do 2 steps from start.
1) GO to you cPanel (or whatever u r using) and create a new DB with necessary details. (DB name, DB User, PWD)
2) Locate wp-config.php file in your webserver root and delete it. Now, take wp-config-sample.php file from your wordpress folder, change all required details in it, rename it to wp-config.php and upload to your server.

Its depend on your ftp server and your inet connections.
according to the author, this plugin is only compatible up to WP version 2.7.
You can wait until it fixed by the author. Just keep’n update
