I have answered my own question:

You use the id parameter in the headers.

There is an option in SexyBookmarks configuration where you can remove it from Feeds. Removing it from feeds might fix the problem.

Thanks uwiuw. I’ve read up on quite a few ways to optimize WP, but I’m still not clear on how/where to host.
