    All right:

It IS server related, since I can’t even connect via FTP now.
It’s been down for about 13 hours!

It looks like I gonna move to another host,

    I”ll close it down now,

    tnx for the input!

    🙂

    Hi guys,

I got this mail from the host comp:

Internal Server Error on server turtle0 (142.4.1.41)is being investigated and solved.

Since I cant’t login on my CP / webmail, I assume it is a problem on server side. I checked my files, last modifications date back from April 19th, It worked perfectly untill this morning.

Nothing has been altered in the WP datafiles since 189th of April…

But: If the problems persists I”ll disable the plugins.

Now where is that server log? lol

Tnx for your guidance guys, much appreciated!

    🙂

    UPDATE:

maryannkelley’s solution seems to work like a charm.

“Update – I decided to try something different. Instead of using the slideshow shortcode, I put the slideshow widget into Widgets On Pages and selected the correct slideshow for the page. It seems to be working properly when I do that. I’ll let it run for awhile and update if it switches back to running a random slideshow.”

    Works fine for now,

    Hi Guys,

I’m having the exact same problem that has been described in the above cases. Really bizarre, as if the “system gets confused”.

Anyway, if anyone finds a solution, please post me 🙂

    Cheers,
    Paperfish
