Hey @amobst, yeah @sterndata nailed it — Settings > Reading is the way to go. It’s super straightforward and works with Make theme too, to swap things around without losing anything:
– First, edit your current homepage (Pages > All Pages > find “Home” or whatever it’s called). Change the title to something like “Welcome” or “Old Home”, and update the permalink/slug if you want (e.g., /welcome instead of /home/). Hit Update — content stays exactly the same.
– Then go to Settings > Reading.
– Pick “A static page” under Your homepage displays.
– Choose the page you want as the new home from the “Homepage” dropdown.
– Save changes.
Boom, new page is your front page (amobst.com loads it), and old content is still there at the new URL. No deletions or mess.
If the theme does something weird after, just let us know — Make usually plays nice though.
Good luck!
