In reply to: [Cyclone Slider] Thumbnails not generating for thumbnail templateI’m running in to another issue. I’m unable to select the thumbnails template. Is there a slide amount restriction for certain templates. Every time I change the template to “thumbnails”, “dark”, or “default” and hit then hit [Update], the change isn’t recorded.

In reply to: [Cyclone Slider] Thumbnails not generating for thumbnail templateI’m having a similar issue. I just updated to 2.9.5, which created my issue. The thumbnail template is no longer pulling in the thumbnails, but instead the full image. I tried adding new images and saving and when I created a new thumbnail slideshow it just put bullets in for the thumbnails. Below is a link to the slideshow.

In reply to: Exclude Single Post View of Certain CategoriesI don’t know why, but I’m still seeing these posts in my feeds. Crap. What is suppose to happen when you view a post’s single post page?

In reply to: Exclude Single Post View of Certain CategoriesYes, I used the latest. I have the other plugins deactivated as well.

In reply to: Exclude Single Post View of Certain CategoriesShould I be using this code in conjunction with the other plugin? I’m still seeing the posts appear in my blog feed. Although, if I try and visit these posts, I get a “No Results Found” page. Also, I can still visit these excluded category’s pages, which is also something I’d like to avoid.
Just to back up a little bit, should I have not used posts in order to feed my widget? I feel like that is pretty standard procedure, to use posts or pages in order to generate content for some sort of homepage widget. My only beef with sort of practice is that after you create these posts, their single pages then live out there on the web, and have no use nor are they meant to be viewed as a single page. Does this make sense?
I really appreciate the time you have taken to help me.

In reply to: Exclude Single Post View of Certain CategoriesOK, so I just changed my permalinks to the default and bam, I got a 404! Is there anyway to keep permalinks set to “Post Name”, and redirect to the homagepage?

In reply to: Exclude Single Post View of Certain CategoriesI’m not getting the same results. Let me make sure I’m doing a couple of things properly. First, what is the best/easiest way to get a category’s ID? I went to [Dashboard > Posts > Categories > selected Category Name] and then looked in the URL for “tag_ID=21”. Is this correct? Secondly, does it matter what format I’m using for my Permalinks?

In reply to: Exclude Single Post View of Certain CategoriesYeah, you could still view the single post pages. Ok, so I added the echo and the echo appeared in a BUNCH of places on the homepage.

In reply to: Exclude Single Post View of Certain CategoriesI just disabled the other plugins, and now it seems the posts are showing up everywhere.

In reply to: Exclude Single Post View of Certain CategoriesI added that bit to my functions file and replaced the ID’s with my own, but to no avail. Is there anything else I could provide to help resolve my issue?

In reply to: Exclude Single Post View of Certain CategoriesI’d only like the posts to be viewable through the widgets I created. Basically, I’m just using a category in order to feed these widgets, so I don’t want the posts in those categories to appear anywhere else, whether it be in the blog list, archives, or single post pages. The plugin that comes closest to what I want is the Ultimate Category Excluder. Thanks for your help!

In reply to: How to use Javascript in Link – Link ManagerThank you for the help! That is very much appreciated.
Basically what I’m trying to accomplish is, I’ve got a set of links, but one is unique and uses javascript, whereas the others are just you run-of-the-mill external links. And like to display them all in a widget. Is there anyway to assign a unique class/id to certain links?
Thanks again for the help!
