I just figured out what the problem was. I had a comma after the final IP address in the blocked list. I guess the system therefore blocked all IPs, since there was nothing after the comma.
If that’s an intentional function it may be worth having it written somewhere (for noobs such as myself), and if it’s unintentional would be worth looking into.
Anyway, thanks for your support, you helped me find the problem.

Thanks for checking. Well I have told it to block some IP addresses; a few that I and associates use, but that’s it. I’d rather not delete those unless I have to.
I don’t think I’ve changed the settings in any significant way besides that.
