The solution in the stackexchange-thread is only for get_recent_posts(), I’d like to fetch taxonomies when using get_post().
I’ve tried modified that solution, but failed. Are you planning on adding support for taxonomies any time soon?

venkatachari: Hm, yes? That was the plugin I was talking about in my post. I want to add .html on posts without changing the permalinks under ‘Settings’, not pages.
