Had not realised my client had Pro version already to gain access to support.
Looks like Search Exclude is now available again in the plugins directory.

Thanks for getting back to me.
Clicking on it twice didn’t work for me. If it’s going to be addressed in the next update I’ll just wait for that to come out.
The site it’s on is multisite, so I’m not sure whether that has any impact on it.
