I examined the php and uploaded (by FTP) GeoLiteCity.dat to /wp-content/uploads – the file read ok and my country was taken off the list!
Just using one of the web services failed to do this. Is there an issue with them?

I have the same issues as HD1234 above – I need the mods to be within my child theme so that the next WP update doesn’t remove them.

Can you add the ‘allow comments’ option to your confirmation design page?
Can you verify if there are errors in the javascript console?
Don’t know where to start to answer this as I’ve never seen/used the javascript console. If you’re asking whether WP displayed any errors then the answer is no.
