Tech support is telling me to download the files and database from this link, http://200.58.119.250:2086
Also, I have another database backup from 2011. Could I use that one and then upload the files from this last year? Would that work?

No, the database was not brand new. It is a back up of it I did last Friday of the blog I’ve been writing for 7 years, 5 of them self hosted.
Last friday the hosting said one of my applications was using too much of their mysql services, so they suspended my database service. However, I was able to do the backup anyway, although the site was not available to the public.
Now they restaured the service over that database backup and the URL and the admin page or dashboard were redirecting to the install.php, so i deleted it, just until I figure out how to solve the problem.

If you access the website using the www, you see the feed, not the homepage.

Thank you very much but I did all of these steps today in order to upload the 3.2.1 vesion of WP.Except this step: renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes and adding “-old”.
Should it be “wp-content/themes-old”? Then how will the system work once it is reinstaled if it cannot locate the themes folder?

I understand. But the widget looked fine and I did not touch the CSS code since the original download of the plugin. So how is it that the style of the widget changed?

The “upload images” window opens in the full page, not as a small window in the center.
Then I can upload the image and press the insert into post button, but instead of going back to the post I’m sent to a blanc page.
Can anyone figure out what’s going on?

When I click on the “add image” button on the posts, the uploader opens as a new tab. I can upload the image but if I try to insert it in the post, I get a blank page.
Do you know what might be causing this?
