I’m also having a similar problem. When a clicking the documents tab in the group, the listing does not show. /docs does work but the display is odd.
/groups/group-name/docs/ doesn’t bring up document list.I have disabled all plugins on a staging site except for buddypress and buddypress docs, changed to the twenty ninteen theme (I’m using sweetdate), regenerated the permalinks – and rolled back the buddypress docs plugin through several releases – all to no avail.

@blaubaerchen yep this worked for me – thank you. However I have numerous
tags being inserted between blocks of content meaning the email is much too spaced out vertically. Is this something you found? Removing the odd
tag in bp-activity-subscription-digest.php doesn’t help.Forum: Plugins

I don’t think you should re-install the plugin.
1) in manage / settings, change the ‘Email Subscription Defaults’ to All Email. All members joining your group will now have ‘All Email’ as their initial setting (they can change this).
2) if you want to change all members in the group to be ‘All Email’, choose manage / members and at the bottom click the link ‘make it so’. This link simply changes all group members to be whatever the group default is. Not so scary, but it does override their previous preferences which is why it needs to be used with caution.

I’ve just tried and I can’t see any change either. Daily and Weekly emails do not send using the WP Better Emails template, whereas the ‘All Email’ preference does. I agree with @jaymaz9mm, this really is a super useful plugin. Finding a fix for this would make it awesome!

Many thanksI’ve added this to bp-activity-subscriptions-functions_original.php, is that correct? I’m not finding this has helped – the daily digest continues to not use WP_Better_Emails.

It looks like this fork is to allow users to choose whether they’ll be receiving emails as HTML or plain text. I’m finding that wp-better-emails is not fully working with “BuddyPress Group Email Subscription” plugin.
When I chose ‘All Email’ – the email uses my template set in the WP Better Emails plugin which is great, but ‘Daily Digest’ and ‘Weekly Summary’ use the Group Email Subscription default HTML which isn’t formatted as I would like. Do you know how can I set daily and weekly to use WP Better Emails?

I want to display Events one the timeline but when I check Event Categories in Content options and save, nothing changes. When I return to the page, this setting is unchecked again as if it had not saved. I only seem to be able to display posts in my timeline.
