Thankfully the issue above has been sorted out now. I’m marking this thread as resolved because not having tabs in the edit mode is no longer a problem. It would be a nice feature to consider in the future but it’s not a bug in the plugin either.

I’ve ran into a problem now that I can’t figure out with my limited coding skills. When I click edit and update the content for one of the tabs and then select different tabs the content no longer hides like it’s supposed to depending on what tab I’ve selected. Instead it shows up overlaid on them. This happens only when I update a tabs content with Live Edit.

It seems to be affecting that particular tabs style settings when I update it with live edit. I’m hoping that maybe someone here can help me out or give me some advice because I’ve relentlessly tried to fix it but as I said my coding skills are limited and I haven’t made any progress.

I have uploaded clear images showing step by step exactly what happens and what I believe problem is:

Step 1 – Click Edit and Styling Remains Intact – http://i.imgur.com/ouOeGq5.png

Step 2 – Update Content and Styling Is Removed – http://i.imgur.com/bc4mHF2.png

Step 3 – Changing Tabs and Content is Remains Shown – http://i.imgur.com/VbmDu6W.png

I really would appreciate it if anyone can add their comments about this or help me out in any way.

    Thanks,
    Paul

I’ve come up with a pretty nice workaround to this for my specific case. On my site I actually use tabs to display the content pulled from my back end WYSIWYG fields so instead of hoping for a tabbed view in the live edit window I used the live edit button separately for each tab content area on the site itself. Now when I change tabs there I can click edit and edit that specific tab WYSIWYG content.
