In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Doesn’t ever importIt isn’t a hosting issue, I own the server, I’ve set up the environment, max execution time is set to 300 seconds, so plenty of time. It is all solid state drives with loads of memory. I left it for 10 minutes, it didn’t complete. I’m running through the manual process now with the wpress-extractor tool.
Thank you for your attempts to help, I appreciate it.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Category images not showing in product category widgetI’d really like a resolution for this as well. I can’t get them to show up in the widget.

In reply to: [Plugin: Constant Contact for WordPress] Hiding lists not workingSeriously.. learn how to deal with people. That is the first mention of WP 3.0, it’s not mentioned on your website, it’s not mentioned in the “in line comments”, and the requirements are “WP 2.9 or higher”.. which would indicate that it is supposed to work with WP 3.0.
I’m well aware that it’s a free plug in and personally I think you need to add a donate button on your website, as I always donate to free plugins that I find usefull.
James.. is english your first language.. or are you always that patronising?

In reply to: [Plugin: Constant Contact for WordPress] Hiding lists not workingCalling me a liar is not going to really endear your services to me. You’ve already done it via email.
I’ve gone through every combination possible.
I have read the inline comments, followed *EXACTLY* what they say. It doesn’t work on WP3.0

In reply to: [Plugin: Constant Contact for WordPress] Hiding lists not workingI’ve read the inline comments, it doesn’t work at all, regardless of what combination you do things in. I’ve followed exactly what they say.
I’m having the same problem.. no matter what options I put in the check boxes, it shows *every* list that I have.. a fix for this ASAP would be really appreciated.

In reply to: SQL Injection hackThis was related to the issue with 2.8.3 but they managed to get remote access as well as reset the admin password.
Their SQL Injection helped them change the admin email at the same time as resetting the password.
I’ve worked a resolution to change the first account to a dummy account that has minimal rights. that way if they figure out how to target the first account again, they still don’t have access.

In reply to: Strange problem :(Try disabling all your plugins and see if that makes a difference, also you can reset your link structure by changing it, applying it, then changing it back and applying it.

In reply to: how do i get a permanent post to be at the top of a catagory page? There are quite a few plugins for making a post “sticky”, I’ve not used them before, so I can’t really make a recommendation on which one to use.

In reply to: Frustrated — Author vs Admin?!If you were logged in as someone else with less permissions (ie – author) you won’t be able to write a post as if it came from a user with higher permissions (ie – admin).
You need to login as the admin in order to be able to select the admin account or any other account.

In reply to: SQL Injection hackI worked out how they were getting into the other sites, on the first site they hacked they put in a backdoor script in the uploads directory, a “r57 shell” script.
If you get hacked, make sure you check for this script, another one had a back door called “c100”.
Both of these scripts gave them shell access to alot of back end things.

In reply to: SQL Injection hackWell in total I’ve had 6 of my client sites hacked, some of them have just had the admin password reset, but others have had their entire site defaced, if they are defacing the site, I’m guessing they have remote control of it.
Also looking in the mySQL databases, the email account has been changed on all of them.
