In reply to: [Google Analytics Top Content Widget] How to filter out categories? Also having this problem. Worked fine until a week or so ago. Although content filter is set to show posts, category, tag and search pages are all now showing up.
I’ve posted a link to a workaround here:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/page-is-not-loading-cdnapitwittercomWill now mark this as resolved to avoid duplication.
Yes, you’re right, also see here:
https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/2747which points to this workaround:
http://jeremy.hu/jetpack-remove-the-share-counts-from-the-sharing-buttons/Basically remove share counts from sharing buttons by adding a filter to functions.
I’ve just done it and it works, have re-added Twitter share buttons and the cdn.api.twitter.com issue is gone.
Hi, I posted about the same problem here:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/jetpack-cdnapitwittercom-and-debug-problemsCan I check which browser are you using? I found it only happens in Chrome and Firefox but not IE/Edge.
(Also, do you get the “It looks like your site cannot connect properly with Jetpack” message when you try to run Debug from the Jetpack dashboard?)
I noticed the cdn.api.twitter.com problem on theguardian.com website, so presumably a Twitter problem rather than Jetpack, although obviously prevents Jetpack Sharing feature from working.
Update: I’ve noticed the “Waiting for cdn.api.twitter.com…” problem occurs on the http://www.theguardian.com website, again in Chrome and Firefox but not IE/Edge. Assuming the Guardian doesn’t use WordPress (or does it?) this would suggest problem is with Twitter and not WordPress/Jetpack.

In reply to: Comments don't appear after clicking submitThis problem has resolved itself today – as I note others have experienced the same problem I can only assume it was due to a problem with the servers that handle Jetpack comments.

In reply to: Comments don't appear after clicking submitHi Tara, I’ve tried this and found that it seems to be the Jetpack plugin. After deactivating the Jetpack plugin comments work. Re-activating makes the problem reappear. So it seems to be a problem connecting to the Jetpack comments system server?

In reply to: Comments not accepted anymore in WP 3.5.1@esmi: I simply added a +1 to the exact same problem. Apologies if that is considered impolite. Adding a little extra information so that hopefully NielsT75’s question can be answered. I didn’t want to post a duplicate thread, which I expected would cause problems for the forum’s volunteers.

In reply to: Comments not accepted anymore in WP 3.5.1+1 for this problem.
Using Jetpack comments with WP 3.5.1, was fine yesterday but from today it’s not possible to post a comment – instead after clicking submit the 404 page appears in the comments box. (I CAN still post comments via the WP dashboard.) I haven’t changed anything on my site between yesterday and today. Problem with WordPress servers?
