Hello,
I tried to replicate the problem, but I couldn’t. I used the latest MailPoet version 5.22.4 and the MailPoet Sending Service and the images rendered fine in the Apple Mail version 16.0 as you can see on this screenshot. https://d.pr/i/l8f1vc Can you share more about your setup? What sending service are you using?
Hi Anthony,
Thank you for reporting this issue. This seems to be a bug in MailPoet where the
setWindowTitle()method expected 2 arguments, but WordPress’swp_titlefilter can sometimes pass only 1 argument depending on theme/plugin interactions.I am going to fix this by making the separator parameter optional. This fix should be included in the next MailPoet update.
Thanks and to what do you say about the 0 Customers is that woocommerce customers or ? should that be renamed to recipients? does that number change once you select lists or segments ?
Yes, that is the part that wasn’t supposed to be visible in the editor; it was intended for a different integration. We need to take a look at this and improve this section. This is just purely broken right now.
Hi @mrthatcher,
Thank you for taking the time to record and share this feedback about the new email editor! We really appreciate users like you who help us improve by documenting their experience.
We’ve watched your recording and discussed your feedback internally. Here’s what we found:
Regarding the logo/template customization: You’re right that this isn’t immediately obvious. The “Your Logo” placeholder and other template-level elements (like the header area) are edited through Template Mode. This is a feature from the WordPress block editor that separates content editing from template editing. We recognize this isn’t intuitive for users who aren’t familiar with this concept, and your feedback reinforces that we need to improve the discoverability of this feature.
Regarding the recipient/sending settings in the sidebar: The editor is supposed to be integrated in different setups. You spotted something that was actually intended for a different integration. We’ll be reviewing whether this should be visible in the standard MailPoet context or if it needs adjustment.
We’re actively working on making the template mode more discoverable and user-friendly. Your feedback is valuable input for that work.
In the meantime, to edit template elements like the logo:
- Look for the option to switch to “Edit Template” in the settings section of the editor (screenshot)
- Once in template mode, you can customize the header, logo, footer, and other structural elements
- Switch back to content mode to edit your actual email content
Thank you again for helping us make the new editor better!
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [ShipStation for WooCommerce] Fatal Error on v4.8.2 – Countable|arrayHi neilgee,
This error seem to be coming from the StarShipIT shipping plugin, not from WooCommerce core. The plugin is failing to retrieve shipping rates from the StarShipIT API.
Recommended steps:
- Check StarShipIT API credentials – Verify the API key in the plugin settings is still valid
- Check StarShipIT service status – There may have been an API outage on December 2nd
- Contact StarShipIT support – Since this is their plugin, they can investigate why the API is returning null instead of rates data
- Check for plugin updates – See if there’s a newer version of the StarShipIT plugin available
As a temporary workaround, you could disable the StarShipIT plugin to restore cart functionality, then use an alternative shipping method until the issue is resolved.
Hi bluedogranch,
I don’t want to share any personal information here in a public forum, but your client does have a MailPoet account. Without it, they wouldn’t be able to use the MailPoet Sending Service.
I checked the account and can confirm the DNS is now correct and verified. At this point, everything is set up correctly, and they can continue using the sending service without concern that their emails will be marked as spam due to authentication issues.

Hello asanacori,
Thanks for reaching out.
This warning shouldn’t normally appear. There are guardrails in place to prevent this situation, so it’s not clear why it’s happening in your case.
Could you let us know where exactly you see this warning? For example:
- Do you see it while performing a specific action in the admin?
- Or does it appear in logs only?
- Is any part of the email editor or sending functionality not working as expected?
This information will help us investigate further and suggest the right fix.
Hi there,
We do this for security reasons. Most of the attributes are removed when we render the form.
But
classis a safe attribute so we will allow it and update the code.We will let you know once the change is released.

Hi there,
MailPoet does not include attachments in the emails that are sent because of bandwidth concerns and security implications with spam filters.
You’ll need to change the sending method in MailPoet > Settings > Advanced > Send all site’s emails with… to “The default WordPress sending method”.
For reference: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/292-choose-how-to-send-your-wordpress-websites-emails#attachments
Hi @demerit, the latest version 4.9.0 fixes the issue.
Thank you again for reporting this.
Hi,
thank you for reporting this issue. We found out this is related to the abandoned cart emails. We are planning to release a fix for this problem next week. In the meantime, could you please disable the abandoned cart emails? That should prevent this error.
Best Regards
Pavel
