In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Does deactivate and re-activating the plugin clear the cacheThe problem I am having is similar but different. I have only one site with W3 installed. I have been updating numerous posts, pages and media and now I get a message at the top of every page in the WP admin of my site.
This is a link to the jpg file of the message.
It is asking me to either / or EMPTY THE PAGE CACHE / EMPTY THE MINIFY CACHE. I need to better understand what the difference is between the two choices and when I would perform one or both of the tasks.

To answer your question above, YES, the issue goes away when W3TC is deactivated.
What does this mean? Do I have a problem with the settings?
