if you say so. i just don’t get how, if i’ve tried everything in your above-linked article and various user comments, run the script successfully, why this doesn’t work as it should.

how do i increase the memory limit? is there a step noted somewhere that’s not in the above linked article?

i’ve looked at that article, tried all the tips therein, still having the same problem. tried phillip d’s suggestion, changed to php 5 (as evidenced in the settings posted above)…

    what else?

there’s got to be a way to do this without adjusting the resolution. the whole point of installing this plugin in the first place was to not have to adjust the resolution. am i mistaken in my understanding that i shouldn’t have to do that?

i’d still appreciate any help on this. thanks.

well, it appears that i spoke too quickly. i tried it again with much larger files and it’s hanging up again, this time in IE7.

well, it appears this may be browser related. can anyone confirm? i created a test album using IE7 and it worked. i was using FF3B5 when i ran into my problems with this.

thanks for the link. i thought about that for the SEO, but i’m not sure my content is such that i really need to have that so much.

one thing i may do is try to figure out if only certain posts, or categories of posts can be duplicated.

that doesn’t import Simple Tags. Simple Tags and Simple Tagging are different, apparently, and the WP2.3 built-in doesn’t import the former.

I am interested in knowing about the Simple Tags (as opposed to Simple Tagging) import as well.

    Regards…
