Hi Clean Talk Team
wow that was faster than expected π
I followed your instructions and at a first glance it works as expected.
But then I noticed some Ajax timeout error when adding some Builder Elements like for example the WordPress > Pro Menu and then try to change settings.
Then the editor freezes completely and after some time the Ajax Timeout shows up.
Its not happening with all Builder Elements, but I haven’t tested them all.

Hi Jory
thanks for confirming this. In fact that’s a powerful and unparalleled option in Pods.
Maybe it would help newcomers if this makes it into the documentations with a few code examples.
I also used this option to truncate the length of excerpts and think there might be quite few more use cases for this feature.
Cheers, Ped
I just found this, which works great:
Creating the following function and using the php date parameters https://www.php.net/manual/en/function.date.php
function MY_FUNCTION($input_date) {
return date(“D. – M. j, Y”, strtotime($input_date));
}and using it in the following way in the pods template:
{@start_date,MY_FUNCTION}
which then returns the date in any format wanted

In reply to: [Battle Suit for Divi] Awesome PluginHi Jan
Indeed you had – we had a mail conversation until you went silent.
Which says a lot about how much you care about paying customers.
I wish you good luck with your endeavours…

In reply to: [Gutenberg] You should all be fired@marius you are right about the public betas. That was when those 1 star reviews started to trickle in.
When I compare the progress some of the existing page builders made over the past 2 year it starts in fact to alienate me how little Gutenberg delivers…
At the moment it looks to me like a Check-Matt for Gutenberg

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Please keep it as a plugin for those who want to use itHi and thanks for the hint about the classic editor plugin.
Imho the best time to pull something as fundamental as Gutenberg into core would be after it is so good that a few hundred thousand people will beg for it.
Sure there is a huge demand to rejuvenate the good old dated WordPress, as the wide spread usage of existing page builders proves.
While WP is too big to fail I personally think there are other areas that more urgent need a brush up – like for example the Media Library among some other things
Thanks π
Just have to add that the Sygnoos support also excels!
I had a minor theme related issue and they provided ultra-fast a working solution.
I just can encourage everyone who is happy with the free version to get the Pro Version as it’s some of the best spent money for a commercial plugin.
Hi @sygnoos
That sounds great and in the meantime another product enhancement crossed my mind:
A Popup theme customizer for those that want to modify the visual appearance of the existing templates, also with an option for export / import.
Of course this can be done already with CSS, but making it easy for the users is always a good selling argument π
Wish you happy holidays and a great new year π
OMG it even shows the password in plain text!! What will be next?
Sadly your reply makes me even more insecure about recommending your products.
Here are a few links about articles with script examples how this issue can get solved and it looks like it shouldn’t be too difficult.
https://wisdmlabs.com/blog/how-to-add-a-password-strength-meter-in-wordpress/
I think this shouldn’t be a difficult task for the dev’s that created the products you sell.
Sorry – this is not a feature request, this is simply about how how happy I feel with a product you sell.
You raised some customer expectations in your offering you simply don’t keep up with.
If you can’t handle a basic request for 4 years, then it’s maybe better just not to offer that feature at all, then in a way that generates a feedback like this. It’s that easy.
The rest of formidable form looks formidable, however I haven’t tried out everything.

In reply to: [Nav Menu Roles] could not update de language files in multisiteThanks for looking into this. π
Looks like this worked – the message has disappeared and everything is working fine.
Regardless this Language issues, I can confirm that your plugin kept working fine all the time. It must have just been this minor issue with the rebuild of those language packs. π

In reply to: [Nav Menu Roles] could not update de language files in multisiteLooks like i got the same here too. The error message I get is the following:
Updating translations for Nav Menu Roles (de_DE)β¦
The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature
I uninstalled the plugin, did a new install from the plugins, as well as downloading the plugin and uploading the unzipped files.
Nav Menu Roles are working nicely, but still keep getting this nagging message. The same still happens after updating to Version 1.8.6
hopefully this glitch can somehow get fixed as this is an excellent plugin π
