In reply to: Error while upgrading to 2.0.1Sounds like the same problem I got. I can’t exactly tell you what’s the problem, or what’s the cause of it since I’m not too sure exactly myself.
First of all, have you checked that you’ve uploaded all the files, and that they are present? How did you upload them? Thru your ftp program, or thru the server’s filemanager?
In my case, I uploaded them thru the ftp, but in the server’s filemanager, the files I see are the old one. I guess it could be my host server issues, where the files uploaded via ftp don’t go to where they should. Doesn’t seem logical, but after I uploaded the missing file via the filemanager, it partially worked ok.

In reply to: Upgraded to 2.0.2, but still see 1.5.2 admin pageYup. I’ve tried deleting the php stuff before.
In fact, I have a second installation of wordpress, which uses it’s own sql database for testing purposes. I upgraded that one without any problems. Then again, I did that upgrade quite some time ago, from 1.5.2 to 2.0
Anyway, I just realised that it could be some server issues. Through my ftp program, I’m pretty sure that I delete the files and them uploaded the replacement files. However, when I logged on to the server control panel, cPanel in this case, and used their built-in file manager, I realised that the files I’m seeing are the ones from 1.5.2. Notably, the images and js folder (new in 2.0.2) are not present. So, I guess somewhere, the files are not going where they are supposed to. Either that, or perhaps it’s time for me to trash my ftp program! LOL
One thing’s for sure. Uploading the files one by one through the browser sure is slow.
Hope this works.

In reply to: Upgraded to 2.0.2, but still see 1.5.2 admin pageNope. Doesn’t work. Tried clearing my browser cache even. I think it is a server issue.
Just wondering, what if I were to do a “fresh install” of 2.0.2? That is, to drop all tables in the database, let wordpress create them again and from that point onwards, load the table entries back in? Would it work?
Anyone with experience care to comment on this?
