Hi Jamie! Correct, there is no problem with the Popup appearing, that’s not the issue I’m asking about.
The problem is the absolute positioning on mobile; it’s not sticking to the bottom of the screen. When you begin to scroll and the browser navigation bar sinks down, the popup banner doesn’t move to the bottom of the screen but instead just floats leaving a gap. Screenshot here showing what I mean. We’d like to get rid of the area circled in red when the browser bar isn’t there.
The behavior we were expecting for the stick to bottom positioning is illustrated on the Dow Janes site I gave as example–when the browser navigation slides down, the popup bar slides down too.
No worries, there’s no urgency as I was able to change coloring via CSS. Didn’t even occur to me to try it on the form itself, I’ll do that next. Thanks so much for looking into this, have a great day!

Hi,
I’m not the person who discovered the vulnerability so I can’t give you details other than what’s listed on the Wordfence page, that this plugin is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion. That page I linked to does include a reference link to Patchstack, perhaps that page has the information you need? Or the CVE report link?
Thanks.

In reply to: [Phlox] Phlox Core Elements Version 2.16.4 crashingHi, came here with same problem, I found the answer in a support thread for the Phlox Core Elements plugin. A user shared this doc published by theme author explaining how to upgrade to address this issue: https://docs.phlox.pro/article/257-fix-installation
Worked for me, good luck!
Hi,
I was able to find a different plugin that has a ticker widget that works with the popup.
Thanks for checking!
I don’t think so, because the same CSS class is also on the html tag of the homepage, where the modal popup does appear correctly. If I were to add the ticker widget to that page, the popup no longer appears. (As replicated on the test page.)
Ohh, okay, good to know! Thanks!

In reply to: [amr shortcode any widget] XSS Vulnerability (fix)G P, do you know whether you’ll be able to make this update to the plugin here in the repository? Sadly, it would seem the original developer has passed away. (http://am.memorial.pahlman.com/) I wonder how it works in situations like this? Can anyone else take up the maintenance of a plugin if they’re not one of the original developers/contributors?
Yes indeed that fixed it! Thank you again, I really appreciate your speedy help. Have a great day.
Hi, thanks so much for the quick response.
Unfortunately it still doesn’t work. I’ve got version 5.0.5 running, and before trying I regenerated assets, purged cache & did hard a reload. I still get the same error in the console.
I think it may just be an issue with PopupMaker, I was able to get a popup button to work successfully a page with your gallery on my development site using a different popup plugin. (Magenta button on this page https://gradycreative.com/development/drafteurasiers/gallery/)
If you don’t see anything that might be causing it with your code, I can just revert to that setup instead.
