Thanks for the update. I can confirm that it is now working correctly in Firefox.
I understand the security concerns with other shortcodes. I guess I have to make my own custom CSS and scripts to archive the same effects. Nothing bad with that, only more work for me 🙂

I have tried the new version on one site that uses Swedish and Finnish languages. We are used to the fact that åäö letters are transformed to aao in slugs, like it does with pages and posts in WP. With this new update, ä changes into ae and ö into oe. I prefer the old way with less letters, but somebody may like the new way. My suggestion is to make it an option were you can choose the way it changes vowels and umlauts, if it is possible.
