Hi Ernest,
Thanks again for your support.
You’re right, the search box width can be managed from the Layout Options.
What about the margins, though? Is there a recommended way to set different margins for mobile and desktop? Thanks again!
Hi Ernest,
Thank you for your feedback! I managed to solve the issue by installing the “Shortcode In Menus” plugin, which allowed me to add a menu item containing the Ajax shortcode. It’s now displaying correctly in mobile view.
I do have a new question though — maybe you or someone else can help:
Is it possible, within the Ajax Search Lite settings, to apply different width and margin values for mobile and desktop?
For example, I’d like the search bar to be 100% width with 0px left margin on desktop, but 90% width with 20px left margin on mobile.I tried using the Custom CSS field in Layout Options > Custom CSS, but I couldn’t get it to work properly.
Thanks in advance!
Best regards
Hi Shahin,
Thank you very much for your reply and for the heads-up about the password – you’re absolutely right, passwords should never be shared in public spaces! I’ve removed the password protection and re-enabled the maintenance page now.
As for the menu issue, thank you for the documentation. I actually managed to solve it by customizing the CSS, and I was able to recreate the exact layout I wanted.
Thanks again and keep up the great work!
