Thank you, deactivating Jetpack indeed only leaves the second error. Hopefully the Apple News publishing will be smoother soon. Thanks again for the support.

I am now keeping the remote images option enabled.

The plugins enabled are only yours for Apple News and Jetpack. The post is: http://pguarnieri.me/2015/05/19/the-end-of-the-world-argentina-south-georgia-antarctica/

I didn’t add any particular html piece, could anything else be the reason?

If I manage to solve this first issue about html, I can try to ask the provider to extend the timeout time a bit more for this specific case.

    Thank you.

Hello again, I managed to contact my hosting provider. They said that in fact they were limiting the process time. They managed to extend that time for this particular case, but I now seem to get two different errors. This time not a server one, but they seem related to the plug-in / Apple News APIs and they appear on the Apple News section of WordPress on top of the list of my posts. The errors are:

“The following components are unsupported by Apple News and were removed: meta, meta, meta, meta, … img, a, div, …” (This is a much longer string with many meta img a or div elements)

“There has been an error with the API. Please make sure your API settings are correct and try again: There has been an error with your request: Operation timed out after 30959 milliseconds with 0 out of -1 bytes received”

If I try multiple times, the first former error above only varies in length, whereas the latter stay the same (except the milliseconds count which varies a little).
Is that indeed an issue with the plugin or Apple News, or would you think that it still is the hosting provider? Many thanks again.

OK, I will try to contact them. I thought it could be something else since it managed to post the shorter article. Thank you.

I have just tried, and I got same error. Is there anything else I can try?
    Thank you.
