@ttwajsb try this (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6162118/how-to-load-the-custom-field-values-of-the-post-via-ajax-in-wordpress) seems promising but its a bit buggy i have notified its author hope he fix it soon

@ttwajsb what do you mean by else where a post or even custom field would do
