I’ve found a few solutions to this problem.. but none of them seem to work for me. 🙁

well I know how to password protect, but the problem is that wordpress seems to be overriding it, and redirecting, instead of allowing the login prompt.
I would say this is happening because you have text-align:justify set to the main entry post and the comments.
Justifying the text will make the spacing uneven in order to line up the paragraph.
